Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School eighth grade girls basketball team won three games this week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The young Lady Hurricane, coached by Jermaine Isaac, defeated Clermont Northeastern 42-7, previously unbeaten Goshen 48-24 and Washington Junior High 42-23.
Katie Murphy averaged 18 points during the three games while Sophie Huffman and KeAsia Robinson averaged six points each.
Taylor Noszka averaged five points a game and Caroline Diels averaged four points per outing.
“Our ladies are doing a great job committing to the defensive end and sharing the ball,” Isaac said.
