Adena overpowers East Clinton 66-32

FRANKFORT – Logan Bennett scored 13 points in the first quarter in Adena’s 66-32 win over East Clinton Saturday night in non-league boys basketball action.

The Astros are 0-10 on the year. Adena is now 8-3.

Bennett led all scorers with 21 points. His first quarter uprising led the Warriors to a 24-8 lead. Branson Smith had six of EC’s eight points in the opening period then scored all six for the Astros in the second quarter. Adena led 41-14 at halftime.

In the third Smith had three of EC’s six points but Adena was still too much and was on top 57-20. Matt Mitchell put through five points in the fourth for the Astros.

Smith finished with 18 points and Mitchell scored seven.
