East Clinton 8th grade boys win second straight game


The East Clinton eighth grade boys basketball team defeated Batavia 36-18 Monday.

The seventh grade Astros were defeated 44-22. Denver Day led EC with 11 points. Aaron Rolfe had five points and Maddix Crowe tossed in four points. Brady Zurface scored two points. East Clinton is 1-6.

In the eighth grade game, Dakota Collom finished with 21 points. Isaiah Conger added eight points and 19 rebounds. Gage Jarrell scored three. Dylan Day and Dalton McClure both scored two points.

East Clinton (2-5 on the year) has won two straight games, coach Herb Mihalik said, playing strong defense in both games.
