The WHS Cheerleaders Hurricane Pee Wee Cheer Camp for youth in grades 1-6 will be held August 6-7 at the Hurricane Youth Football Field behind Wilmington High School.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Campers will meet at the youth football field to check-in and warm-up both days before splitting into grade level groups. Participants should take water bottles and snacks each day.

WHS cheer coaches Krista White (varsity) and Jaime Hibbs (reserve and freshmen) along with 2015 WHS cheerleaders will be instructors at the camp.

Cost of the camp is $30 for the first camper in a family and $25 for each additional family member. Checks should be made payable to the Wilmington High School Athletic Department.

Campers registering on or prior to July 24 will receive a T-shirt. All participants will be invited to cheer at the WHS varsity football game on Sept. 18.
