LEES CREEK – The East Clinton Junior High School wrestling team finished fifth Friday at the East Clinton Duals.

The young Astros were 1-4 in the tournament, posting a win over Clermont Northeastern, 24-12. Unbeaten Greeneview won the tournament while North College Hill was second and Williamsburg was third. Dixie was fourth.

Kaleb Bauman was 5-0 with two pins in the 110-pound weight class.

Jacob Cubbage won three matches at 245 while Lukas Runk at 98 and Avery Hughes at 128 both won two matches.

Cubbage also won an exhibition match by pin.
