Massie reserve boys drop first in SBAAC, 55-48

The Clinton-Massie junior varsity boys basketball team was defeated by Western Brown 55-48 Friday night.

The Falcons go to 8-2 overall, 4-1 in the SBAAC American Division.

“We struggled to shoot the ball,” said CM coach Steven Gerber. “I thought we did a really good job of executing and getting just about any shot we wanted, they just wouldn’t fall.”

Tate Olberding led CM with 14 points and five rebounds. Carsyn Valentine had 10 points while Nate Baker finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

Austin Faucett had seven points. Logan Meyers contributed four points and four rebounds while Davis Wulf and Brody Muterspaw had two points each. Jordan Redman had a rebound while Carter Euton had a steal and an assist.
