Registration begins January 28 for the Wilmington City Parks and Recreation Dept. co-ed spring soccer season.

Players eligible are currently in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Registration can be completed on the Wilmington Parks and Recreation Facebook page; at the athletic coordinator’s office at J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park; or at http://bit.ly/springsoccer2019.

Practices will begin March 11. Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 25, weather permitting, and ending on April 27.

Leagues will be determined by number of players available for each grade level. Coaches will contact players by March 7. Clinics for all participants will be scheduled.

Cost is $30 for Wilmington residents and $15 for each additional child, or $40 for non-Wilmington residents and $20 for each additional child.There is a $30 charge for returned checks.

Payment must be received by Feb. 18 to be eligible to participate. A $10 late fee will be assessed for payments received after Feb. 18. Payment can be mailed to City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation, 69 N. South St., or dropped off at the athletic coordinator’s office at the park. Checks should be made payable to City of Wilmington Parks and Recreation.
