France makes Big Blue all-tourney team

FAIRFIELD — Clinton-Massie’s Aric France was named to the all-tournament team at the Big Blue Challenge at the Game of Fairfield.

France was 6th overall, finishing with a 3-game series of 669. He had games of 222, 225, 222.

As a team, the CM boys were 8th out of 23 teams.

The Lady Falcons were 10th out of 21 teams.

Josie Wolfe was the top bowler with a 486 series (144, 164, 178).

Katie Starnes had a 463 series (190, 126, 147) and Gwen Broderick had games of 160 and 118. Kathryn Wilson bowled 137 and 132 games while Casey Cochran had games of 140 and 126. Rachel Cochran had 138, Carole Umstead 105 and Brittany Fry 100.

For the boys, Corey Potts had a 561 series (187, 203, 171). Joey Marburger had games of 203 and 193 while David Poynter had games of 193 and 167. Jacob Wellman both 167 and 184 games. Chandler Morsch had a 151 game and Kenton McInerney bowled a 100 game.
