Blan 7th grade boys end 4-game skid vs. CNE

The Blanchester seventh grade boys basketball team ended its four-game losing streak Monday with a 42-22 win over Clermont Northeastern.

The eighth grade Wildcats were defeated by CNE 46-32. Blanchester is 1-11.

Zach West had 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals for BJHS. Kyle Garrett had 10 points and four rebounds.

Jayden Purdy had seven points and Levi Montgomery scored three points. Dustin Trace tossed in two points. Gabe Faulkner had five rebounds and four assists.

In the seventh grade game, Blanchester improved to 4-8 with the win. The Wildcats led 30-7 at halftime.

Bryce Sipple had 16 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Cole Bradley had six points.

Quentin Rice had four points and Jansen Wymer had four points, five rebounds and four assists. Xander Culberson, Nick Taylor, Drew Wyss, Braz Byrom, Collin Elston and Jarod Daniels had two points each. Bill Hamm finished with three steals while Sky Smith handed out three assists.
