BEREA – Brady Wilson and Seth Jermer represented the Wilmington College wrestling team’s contingent at the John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace University Saturday.

In the 165-pound weight class, Wilson lost to Isaac Matthews of SUNY-Oswego 7-2 by decision in the second round, but rebounded to defeat Mike Hall of Ohio Wesleyan University by fall in 1:37.

Wilson went on to win two more matches by fall (Jared Lowry of Ohio Wesleyan and John Kayes of SUNY-Brockport), both in less than two minutes.

Seth Jermer competed in the 285-pound weight class, but was forced to retire due to an injury.

Wilmington will send individuals to NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by Wabash College Feb. 22-23.
