Blan 7th, 8th grade girls drop pair to Warriors

The Blanchester seventh and eighth grade girls basketball teams lost two games Tuesday to Goshen.

The eighth grade was defeated 41-25.

Olivia Potts had 10 points, four rebounds and a steal for Blanchester.

Kaidyn Hamm finished with five points, three rebounds and two steals. Ainsley Whitaker had five points, seven rebounds, an assist and two steals.

Hailey Mulvihill contributed three points, nine rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots. Madi Tipton chipped in with two points, three rebounds and two assists.

The seventh graders were knocked off 27-17.

Hope Blankenbeckler had five points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a blocked shot. Layla Winemiller had an assist and Macey Waldron contributed five points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot.

Gracie Roy had two points, two steals and a rebound. Payton Johnson totaled two rebounds and Abbey Irwin had a free throw. Nevaeh Griffith had a rebound.

Kaylee Coyle finished with two points, three rebounds and an assist. Shelbie Panetta stats line was two points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
