The East Clinton freshman boys basketball team was defeated by Georgetown 42-39 Tuesday night.

Isiah Curtis led the Astros with 11 points.

Chris Norman scored nine points and Justin Arnold totaled seven for coach Greg Roberts’ Astros. Phillip Davis scored six points.

East Clinton was down by three with eight seconds to play but was unable to get off a three-point attempt to tie the game.

Roberts said he was proud of his team for the improvement they’ve shown throughout the season. They lost to Georgetown by 17 points earlier in the year.
