LEES CREEK — Three separate scoring runs helped Felicity hold off East Clinton Tuesday night, 64-46.

Runs of 10-0, 13-2 and 10-2 helped the Cardinals (5-16 overall, 4-8 SBC) keep the Astros from getting back into the game.

The 10-0 run turned an early deficit into an 18-10 lead early in the second quarter. Felicity led 33-19 at the half.

Felicity was able to expand its lead to 20, 43-23, with 3:52 left in the third. The Astros began to chip away at the deficit.

A three by Dylan Peterman and two by Matt Mitchell fueled a 13-3 Astro run. East Clinton pulled within 10, 46-36, in the waning seconds of the third.

Seth Roehm found space under the basket for Felicity and scored as time expired in the quarter to push Felicity’s lead back to 12, 48-36.

Roehm’s basket began a 10-2 run that put the game out of reach. Felicity led 56-38 with 5:15 left and never looked back.

Austin Rutherford was one of four Cardinals players in double figures with 14 points. Roehm finished with 12. Wyatt Crozier had 10 points, while Joe Glassmeyer had 10 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Mitchell and Branson Smith tied for high scoring honors for the Astros (0-19, 0-11) with 15 points each.
