Young earns 2nd team All-America honors

Ella Young earned second team All-America honors for her accomplishments as a senior at Landmark Christian.

Ella Young of Wilmington was named a National Christian School Athletic Association All-American for the 2014-15 soccer season.

Young was named to the second team All-America team.

She also earned Northwest Super Region honors along with Landmark Christian teammates McKenzie Eagan, Callie Dunn, Hannah Woody and Kaitlyn Woody.

Dunn and Eagan were named first team All-America while Kaitlyn Woody joined Young on the second team All-America team.

Young, who just completed her senior year at Landmark Christian School, was a midfielder for the Lady Eagles squad.

Rusty Young, also of Wilmington, will begin his fifth season as the head coach of Landmark Christian this fall.
