CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Wilmington College wrestling team wrapped up its first season of competition since 2012 Friday at the NCAA Division III Central Regional tournament hosted by Wabash College

In the 157-pound division, Brady Wilson fell to Joel Arney of Manchester University by technical fall in 4:17 in the first round of the main draw followed by a defeat at the hands of Brandon Minear of Trine University by fall in 4:44 in the first round of the consolation draw.

In the 285-pound division, Seth Jermer’s tournament ended via disqualification in the opening round.

“Today didn’t go as well as we had hoped, but we are eager for new opportunities next season,” coach Justin Kihn said. “As a whole, we learned a lot about how this program can and will move forward.”
