State champ freshman daughter of WHS grad

Ashley Vaughn, a freshman at Beavercreek High School and daughter of 1991 Wilmington High School graduate Andy Vaughn, was a starting member of Beavercreek High School’s Division I state championship girls soccer team this past fall. Vaughn was a holding-midfielder on the BHS squad that went 24-0 this season and allowed only two goals. The team has been invited to the State Capitol Wednesday to be honored by the House of Representatives. The team has received its championship rings. Vaughn was given special mention on the Greater Western Ohio Conference National Division soccer team.
