WC volleyball falls in 3

GAMBIER — The Wilmington College volleyball team fell in straight sets, 25-15, 25-11, 25-13, to Kenyon in non-conference action at Tomsich Arena.

Sophomore Kennedy Harshaw (Xenia, OH/Xenia) led the team with five kills on 24 attempts, while freshman Sydney Smith (Centerville, OH/Dayton Christian) added four kills on 13 attempts.

Senior Ariana Neff (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) dished out a team-high 12 assists with seven digs and three kills. Junior Catlin Pauley (Kenton, OH/Riverdale) also had seven digs for the Fightin’ Quakers.

As a team, Wilmington finished with 17 kills and 18 errors on 82 attempts with 15 total assists.

Wilmington (0-3) returns to the court 7 p.m. Wednesday to host the College of Wooster.
