The power of pink raises funds locally

More than $1,000 was collected for the organization Jamestown Families Cancer Care as a challenge issued on Jeffersonville radio station WZAA 106.9 FM. Several people promised to color their hair pink if $1,000 were raised, and they posed at Salon Mane in downtown Wilmington where much of the coloring was done.
