WILMINGTON — A Clarksville area woman was indicted on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle, theft from an elderly person (a protected class), and six counts of perjury.

Shawna M. Pigg, 39, of Clarksville is alleged to have committed grand theft of a 1999 Mercury car, as well as obtained control over land parcels valued at $65,000, and committed perjury “when the statement is material,” according to the filed indictment.

The perjury is alleged to have occurred on Sept. 14, 2018 (one count), on Sept. 15, 2018 (three counts), and on Dec. 17, 2018 (two counts). The counts of perjury are all third-degree felony offenses.

The theft of the land, a second-degree felony, is alleged to have occurred on Dec. 17, 2018; while the grand theft of the car is alleged to have occurred on Sept. 14, 2018.

Huston, 27, of Wilmington, on charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and of receiving stolen property, both fourth-degree felony offenses.
