Wilmington Hope House fundraiser nets $1,600

Wilmington Hope House sold mums and pumpkins at a fundraiser Friday and Saturday along Rombach Avenue that collected more than $1,600. The mums and pumpkins were a generous anonymous gift, so all proceeds will go to the emergency drop-in shelter for homeless women and any children they have, located at 495 East Locust Street. In the photo Lauren Stroud of Wilmington picks a huge set of mums Saturday afternoon.
