Walt thanked for service to Clinton County

Clinton County Treasurer Jason Walt’s last day as treasurer on Friday included two hours set aside for well-wishers to mark the occasion. He announced last winter he would resign, citing time constraints caused by his private CPA work. Currently, four candidates have come forward seeking to succeed him: Scott Holmer, Jonathan McKay, Jay Peterson, and Kyle Rudduck. The Clinton County Republican Party’s Central Committee will appoint the replacement, expected to take place May 17. From left are Deputy Treasurers Ana Whitten and Andrea Regan, Walt, and Deputy Treasurer Jill Smith.
