WILMINGTON — The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court.
The sheriff’s office recently processed these reports:
• Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Springfield male for alleged aggravated drug trafficking and failure to comply at 7:35 p.m. on January 13. According to the report, the incident took place around North South and East Vine Street in Wilmington. Police seized a white and red menthol vape, an iPhone, and two black scales.
• At 2:43 a.m. on January 14, deputies responded to a Gurneyville Road, Wilmington/Chester Township residence on a domestic violence call. The report lists a male resident as the victim with a 22-year-old female resident as the suspect.
• At 2:45 p.m. on January 9, a 63-year-old Wilmington/Chester Township female reported a window being broken at her residence on State Route 380. The report lists a 39-year-old female – a child of the victim – as the suspect.
• At 8:18 p.m. on January 12, deputies discovered suspected narcotics during a traffic stop on U.S. 68 South in Wilmington/Union Township. According to the report, deputies seized a clear bong with an unknown substance and a clear bag containing marijuana. A 39-year-old female from Lexington, Kentucky was listed as the suspect.
• At 11:04 a.m. on January 6, a 63-year-old Midland female reported her .38 caliber Rock Island revolver and ammo were stolen from her residence on Vine Street.
• At 12:58 p.m. on January 16, a church on South Beechgrove Road in Wilmington/Clark Township reported a catalytic converter was stolen from a van. The theft reportedly took place between Dec. 1, 2022-Jan. 16, 2023.
• At 2:10 p.m. on January 9, a 52-year-old Wilmington/Union Township male reported he had been a victim of identity fraud.
• At 8:15 a.m. on January 12, deputies responded to the 700 block of Pansy Road in Blanchester/Vernon Township on a trespassing complaint. A 61-year-old female residence was listed as a victim. No further details were listed.
