CLARKSVILLE — The colors of autumn leaves paint the landscape announcing Thanksgiving will soon be here and that Christmas is soon to follow.

Department stores are stocking the shelves with holiday décor and gifts, and Clinton-Massie Local Schools is preparing to host its 21st Annual “Christmas in the Country” craft show that promises something for everyone. The shopping season has begun.

Sponsored by the Clinton-Massie Elementary School PTO, this year’s event features 95 vendors, local artisans, crafters, and independent consultants showcasing their hand-crafted wood items, primitives, applique, crochet, Christmas decor, home decor, jewelry, florals, baked goods, candy and more.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 12. Doors will open at 10 a.m. with holiday shopping until 4 p.m.

Shoppers are asked to donate non-perishable food items as admission to the event, which will allow the Clinton-Massie Food Pantry to provide holiday meals to area families in need.
