Clinton County muni court dispositions

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes between March 13 and March 17:

• Amanda Garen, 26, of Middletown/Martinsville, complicity, two charges of theft, sentenced to 540 days in jail (suspended), fined $325, assessed $375 court costs. Garen must write a letter of apology to the victim, pay restitution, and have no contact with them. Garen is to have no similar offenses and take part in non-reporting probation for two years if complaint jail may be suspended. Additional charges of possession of drugs and two other theft charges were suspended.

• Bradley Smart, 35, of Wilmington, receiving stolen property, sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $220, assessed $125 court costs. Smart must pay restitution in sum of $220 to the victim, have no contact with them, and write a letter of apology ot the victim. An additional charge of possession of drug instruments was dismissed.

• Logan Robinette, 29, of Sabina, possession of marijuana, going 99 in a 55 mph speed zone, fined $100, assessed $125 court cost. The cases of waived by the defendant.

• Robert Moreton II, 32, of Sabina, trespassing, criminal mischief, sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, assessed $250 court costs. Moreton will take part in supervised probation if the court will suspend $500 from fine. He must have no contact with victims, pay restitution, and write a letter of apology to the victims. An additional charge of possession of drug instruments was suspended.

• Scott Obermeyer, 50, of Sardinia, O.V.I., sentenced to 180 days in jail, operator’s license suspended from March 16 to Sept. 16, 2017, fined $1,075, assessed $125 court costs. Jailtime stayed to allow the defendant to complete supervised probation, SAQ, and complete three-day day residence driver intervention program if the compliant court will suspend $#75 of fine. ALS vacated. Limited driving privileges granted effective $375. An additional O.V.I. charge and a charge of driving 64 in 50 mph speed zone were dismissed.

• Kyle Harding, 31, of Wilmington, reckless operation, fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from an O.V.I. charge. Harding has completed three-day non-residential driver intervention program, balance jail suspended on the condition that no further offenses for two years, and complete two years of non-reporting probation. ALS vacated. An additional head light violation charge was dismissed.

• Mark House, 38, of Goshen, trespassing, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from an aggravated trespassing. An additional aggravated menacing charge was dismissed.

• Tara Bowermaster, 30, of Wilmington, theft, sentenced to three days in jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Bowermaster must write a letter of apology to the victim, have no similar offenses and be monitored by non-reporting probation for two years.

• Shannon Brady, 32, of Columbus, driving under suspension-financial, registration violation, fined $155, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant. Brady will pay fines only for the registration violation.

• Wayne Michael,57, of Sabina, driving under suspension-failure to appear/pay fine, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. A failure to control charge was dismissed.

• Tina Proffit, 43, of Clarksville, possession of drug instruments, sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, assessed $125 court costs. Proffit will take part in supervised probation if the compliant court will suspend $375 of fine.

• Jacqueline Hensley, 28, of Wilmington, driving under suspension-reinstatement fee, fined $25, assessed $125 court costs. An additional charge of driving under suspension charge was dismissed.

• Kristy Woodgeard, 36, of Middletown, driving under suspension-financial, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Benjamin Benner, 35, of Sabina, driving under suspension, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Yusuf Ruffin, 42, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs.

• Calvin Colwell, 62, of New Vienna, failure to control, fined $30, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Sierra Wogomon, 18, of Wilmington, driving under suspension-reinstatment fee, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Tracy Haggerty, 34, of Wilmington, driving under the suspension-reinstatment fee, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. An additional charge driving under suspension-financial was dismissed.

• Sharda Robinson, 28, of Columbus, driving under suspension-financial, going 81 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Robinson will pay fines only for the speed charge.

• Amber Curtis, 29, of Wilmington, driving under suspension-financial, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs. An additional charge of driving under suspension was dismissed.

• Matthew Sell, 19, of Wilmington, criminal mischief, sentenced to three days in jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. Sell must complete eight hours of community service.

• Aaron Martin, 35, of Blanchester, driving under suspension-financial, driving under suspension, fined $250, assessed $250 court costs. An additional charge of driving under suspension-reinstatement fee.

• Joshua Walls, 22, of Wilmington, domestic violence. Sentencing stayed to allow the defendant to complete twelve-week anger management class.

• Kevin Gaskalla, 28, of Blanchester, hunting without a license, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Christopher Byers, 39, of Cincinnati, going 103 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.
