Long’s Pharmacy in downtown Wilmington burglarized

WILMINGTON — Police are looking for the suspect in an early morning burglary of a local drug store.

The Wilmington Police Department was called out to Long’s Pharmacy, 159 W. Main St., at 4:01 a.m. on Wednesday for a breaking and entering.

The suspect broke the door of the pharmacy after parking his vehicle in the side parking lot, police said, then entered the building and stole the cash register drawer and an unknown amount of change.

Long’s shared its photographs of surveillance footage and of the suspected vehicle in hopes of identifying the suspect. They did wish to add any further comments about the incident. If anyone recognizes the suspect or has any information on the incident, please contact Wilmington police at 937-382-3833.
