WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department and Clinton County Sheriff’s Office are gearing up to host National Night Out.

On Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 6-8 p.m. area residents are invited to come to J. W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “34rd Annual National Night Out” (NNO) crime and drug prevention event.

The Wilmington Fire Department will be also be showcased — each department at the event will have items on display to look at, use, and learn about.

This year the Warren County Mounted Search Team will be there, as will the Clinton County Youth Council bringing Frisbee Golf.

There will be food available and balloons and other items for the kids.
