EC softball ends four-game skid 4-2

LEES CREEK – East Clinton stopped its four-game losing streak Wednesday with a 4-2 win over Clermont Northeastern.

The Lady Astros are 4-6 overall and 1-6 in the SBAAC National Division.

Clermont Northeastern falls to 2-11 overall and 1-7 in the division.

Mackenzie Campbell picked up the win in the circle, allowing three hits and two walks in seven innings. Neither of the runs allowed were earned.

Campbell also drove in two runs at the plate. Kiera Brightman had three hits, including a pair of doubles.
