HILLIARD — Blanchester senior Erika Richardson finished 32nd Saturday in the uneven bars competition at the 44th annual Girls State Gymnastics Tournament at Bradley High School.
A three-time state qualifier, Richardson posted an 8.1 score in the bars.
Jamie Waugaman of Brecksville Broadview Heights won the bars competition with a 9.45 score. Her teammate Alecia Farina was fourth with a 9.050.
A pair of Rocky River Magnificat competitors finished second and third — Julia Pompeani with a 9.225 and Jessica Androski with a 9.2.
Richardson had placed 27th and 28th in her previous two trips to the state tournament.
Richardson posted an career best 8.575 score on the bars and finished fourth in the district competition.
