The Rodger O. Borror Middle School girls cross country team finished fifth Saturday at the Finishtiming.com XC Classic at Wilmington College.

Elise Snarr was the top runner for the ROB girls, finishing 36th in 14:43.7.

Lilly Lentine was the first Clinton-Massie runner, placing 45th in 15:04.7.

On the boys side, Borror was ninth overall while East Clinton was 15th.

Calvin Walls led the young Hurricane boys by finishing 29th in 12:43.3.

Aiden Henson of East Clinton led the Astros with a 13:33.4 run, placing 54th overall.

Joe Hammonds was the first Clinton-Massie runner to cross the line in 16:30.6.
