NEW RICHMOND — The Blanchester Middle School girls track and field team finished fifth Saturday out of 12 schools at the New Richmond Invitational.
Haley McEntire took first in the high jump, clearing 4-6.
Savanna Schutte was third and set a school record by clearing 7-6 in the pole vault. Becca Kratzer was third in the 100-meter hurdles and third in the 200-meter hurdles.
The foursome of Lana Roy, Noe Tangonan, Emma Winemiller and McEntire were fourth in the 4×200-meter relay.
The 4×400-meter relay team Tangonan, Kenzie Kratzer, Caili Baumann Winemiller was fifth. The 4×100-meter relay team of Becca Kratzer, Shilynn Massey, Tangonan and Madison Berrien was seventh.
Kenzie Kratzer was fifth in the 1,600-meter run and Massey was fifth in the 200-meter hurdles.
Baumann finished sixth in the 400-meter dash and seventh in the 800-meter run. Schutte took sixth place in the long jump.
