LEES CREEK – Clinton-Massie moved to 9-1 on the year with a 4-1 win Tuesday over East Clinton in non-league competition on the ECHS courts.

The Lady Astros fall to 1-4 this season.

Anne Thompson is 12-1 in singles play following her 6-1, 6-1 win. Nina Lazic and Megan Wonderly are both 11-2 as is the doubles team of Claire Carruthers and Hailey Stinchcomb.

“We’re starting to see some fatigue and illness across the lineup, so we continue to shuffle the courts with success,” CM coach Lynn Deatherage said.

Shelby Michael for East Clinton is 5-0 on the year in singles play. She registered the only win of the night with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 triumph.
