Wilmington High School’s DJ Ames is a nominee for the Tri-State Football website player of the week.
In a 59-35 win over Butler High School Friday night, Ames rush for 249 yards and two touchdowns on 22 attempts.
He also caught six passes for 80 yards and a touchdown.
