KETTERING – The Clinton-Massie girls soccer season ended Thursday night with a loss to defending state champion Archbishop Alter, 7-0, in a Division II sectional match at Alter High School.

Alter, No. 1 seed in the sectional and No. 2 team in the final Div. II state poll, did all its scoring in the first half. Nicoletta Anuci of Alter had three goals in the win.

The loss ends the Lady Falcons season at 6-11.

Alter will play Wilmington 7 p.m. Monday at West Carrollton High School.
