TRENTON – The Wilmington High School wrestling team finished seventh Saturday at the Edgewood Invitational.
Miamisburg won the meet with 167 points while Little Miami was second with 165.
Isaac Allen at 160 pounds was the top finisher for the Hurricane. He was decisioned by Sean Mondello of Talawanda 6-4 in the championship match.
Other places for the Hurricane were Cameron Smart sixth at 113 pounds, Sam Eastes second at 120, Truestin Barnes sixth at 195 and Conner Barton fifth at 285.
Barton had an eventful tournament. He opened with a nine-second pin then split two overtime matches and lost a 2-1 decision.
