East Clinton’s seventh grade girls basketball team defeated Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School 36-30 Wednesday.

Libby Evanshine had 17 points and Kami Whiteaker added 10 for the Lady Astros.

Jayden Murphy scored four and Jozie Jones chipped in with three points. Savannah Tolle had two points for EC.

Katie Murphy of ROB led all scorers with 20 points.

Sophie Huffman had eight points and KeAsia Robinson scored two.
