The Blanchester eighth grade boys basketball team was defeated by New Richmond 61-22 Wednesday night.

The Wildcats were led by Seth Akers and Blake Coffman who scored five points each. Coffman had eight rebounds.

Nate Coyle scored four points. Gabe McVey, Reagan Burch, Johnathan Herzner and Ryan Brewer tallied two points each.
