The Splashtastic Adventure Course will be held June 27 at Vital Fitness, 1050 Prairie Ave., for area youth, ages 5-13.

The 1.5-mile course is filled with 15 obstacles.

“Our goal is to provide kids with a new way of learning how health and fitness is enjoyable and allowing them to have a ton of splishin’, splashin” fun,” Vital Fitness owner Amy Zimmerman said in a press release.

Pre-registration cost is $20 per child. Anyone who registers prior to Wednesday will receive a free T-shirt. Race day registration is $30 and will take place 8 to 8:45 a.m.

Registration can be completed on-line at vitalohio.com/splashtastic2015 or at the Vital Fitness office on Prairie Avenue.

Youth ages 9-13 will begin competition at 9 a.m. with you ages 5-8 set to start at 9:15 a.m.
