Bluegrass entertainers a hit at Clinton County Fair

WILMINGTON — One of the songs the bluegrass band Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers performed Tuesday at the county fair was “Bacon in My Beans”. During the song, Mullins spotted a News Journal photographer at work and band members proceeded to “ham it up” (pun intended) for a photo.

The open-air Implement Dealers Building on the Clinton County Fairgrounds was full of people to hear a bluegrass concert by Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers. They were named Entertainers of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2019.
