The Clinton-Massie seventh grade boys basketball team was defeated by Goshen 41-38 Wednesday night.
It was a tight game throughout, Massie trailing 9-8 after one and leading 21-20 at the half. Goshen pulled out to a 32-27 lead after three.
Coach Cordell Cordrey said, “Nothing to hang our heads about after this game. It was a hard-fought exciting game all four quarters.”
Barron Phipps had 17 points for Clinton-Massie. Easton Vinup tossed in 12.
Carson Long and Eli Janis had three points each. Wyatt Scott scored two points and Cash Burton rounded out the scoring with a free throw.
