GBK Final: Blanchester 54, Felicity 32

BLANCHESTER — Blanchester girls basketball team closed its home schedule Monday with a 54-32 win over Felicity on Senior Night.

The Ladycats are 5-17 overall and 4-8 in the SBAAC National Divison. Felicity is 1-19, 0-11.

Blanchester will face No. 1 seed East Clinton 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilmington’s Fred Summers Court in Div. III sectional play.

Maddison Tipton and Ainsley Whitaker are the only two senior players on the BHS squad this season. Brysen Jackson, the team’s jack of all trades as an assistant athletic director, team manager and mascot, also was honored prior to the game.
