BLANCHESTER — The following report is generated from incident reports provided by the Blanchester Police Department. All those charged/arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court. Charges may be dropped or changed in court.

Blanchester police recently processed the following reports for the week of Feb. 6-12. **This is not all calls and matters handled by officers, nor does it include ongoing investigations and follow-ups on cases from previous weeks**:

Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Fancy Street for the report of a domestic. Upon investigation, a 37-year-old woman was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Officers responded to the 200 block of South Vine Street for the report of a stolen trailer tag.

Officers took a report of a sex offense that occurred in the village. The investigation is ongoing.

A woman with a warrant out of the department was located at a business in the 200 block of West Main Street. During the arrest, the woman was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles, one containing a suspected drug.

A report was taken of possibly something being poured into a gas tank to cause damage in the 700 block of North Broadway Street.

Officers responded to a man trespassing at a residence in the 200 block of Highland Avenue.

Officers were requested to attempt to locate a man on a warrant in the 400 block of South Broadway Street. The man was not located.

A woman reported that her husband was missing, and had left his keys, phone, and wallet in his unlocked car in the 900 block of Cherry Street. A short time later, the man was located.

An officer responded to the 400 block of Depot Street for the report of traps being located in a wooded area. A State Wildlife Officer also responded.

A person with a knife was reported at a business in the 100 block of South Broadway Street. Upon investigation, this was unfounded.

An officer was requested in the 400 block of South Broadway Street to assist with probation officers who had arrested a male on a warrant.
