WILMINGTON — The East Clinton tennis team defeated Clermont Northeastern 4-1 Wednesday in a match held following the SBAAC National Division tournament at Wilmington High School.
After an 0-4 start to the year, East Clinton is 4-9, including three wins in the last five matches. The Astros are 4-5 in league play. Clermont Northeastern is 0-15.
Bo Frye, Stephen Lozano and Carmen Brown in singles play and the doubles pairing of Gretchen Boggs and Brooklynn Hamilton posted wins for Esat Clinton.
