Mariemont knocks off Wilmington in eSports regional at UC

The Wilmington High School eSports team competed in the Overwatch Regional playoffs Sunday held in person at the University of Cincinnati’s eSports Innovation Lab.

The event was the result of the team finishing in second place in regular season play this past spring season. In the first round of rthe regionals Wilmington lost to a strong Mariemont team 3-1.

eSports is offered as a part of Wilmington’s Tech Club and the team is coached by Steven Reed.
