Blanchester earned the highest seed among Clinton County baseball teams as the Southwest District tournament draw was completed Sunday.
Blanchester (14-5) is the No. 2 seed in the Division III South sectional. The Wildcats will play5 p.m. May 17 in the South 2 bracket against either Cincinnati Country Day (10-10) or Finneytown (0-12).
In Division II South 1, Wilmington (9-9) will travel to SBAAC rival New Richmond 5 p.m. May 16. The Hurricane is the No. 11 seed while the Lions (13-10) are the No. 9 seed.
Clinton-Massie is in the Division II South III bracket and will play at No. 4 seed Reading 5 p.m. May 18. Reading is 16-3. Massie is 4-14.
In Division III South 1, East Clinton (0-19) will play top seeded Williamsburg (19-5) 5 p.m. May 15 at Williamsburg High School.
