10 from county earn top honors among SBAAC fall sports

Five athletes and five coaches from Clinton County were honored as players and coaches of the year this fall in the SBAAC.

Brynn Bryant of Wilmington was the volleyball player of the year; Jose Morales of Wilmington was the American Division player of the year in boys soccer; Addison Swope of Clinton-Massie was the American Division girls tennis player of the year; Grace Boone of CMHS was the American Division girls golfer of the year; Andy Steed of CMHS was the American Division boys golfer of the year.

Coaches of the year from the county were Imad El-Macharrafie of WHS in boys soccer; Julie Kirby of Clinton-Massie in girls tennis; Jimmy Brady of CMHS in girls golf; Phil Larrick of CMHS in boys golf; Matt Sexton of Blanchester in girls tennis.

The football awards had not been voted on at this time.
