LEES CREEK — East Clinton could never find its stride offensively Wednesday in a 43-28 loss to Miami Trace in non-league girls basketball action.
The Panthers, on the other hand, started slowly then picked up steam to get the win. Miami Trace trailed 7-4 after one but then outscored East Clinton 39-21 the rest of the way.
Lauren Runyon led East Clinton, scoring 18 of the 28 points.
Gracie Lovett and Jessee Stewart scored 11 points each for Trace.
East Clinton drops to 1-8. Miami Trace is 3-5.
