JACKSON — Clinton-Massie’s Kaylee Ramsey won the 120-pound weight class Sunday at the Brown Brothers Invitational girls wrestling tournament here at the high school.

Ramsey, a state qualifier last season, was a 9-2 winner in the final match and helped Clinton-Massie finish 12th in the tournament.

Wilmington was 20th in the final team standings while East Clinton was 33rd in the 47-team event.

Also for Clinton-Massie, Shelby Randolph finished sixth at 155 pounds. Abi Crouse was seventh at 130 and Ella Groh was seventh at 145.

For Wilmington, Mia Skinner was fourth at 105 pounds and Kennedy Goings was eighth at 120. Samantha Vaughn was seventh at 145 and Kaylinn Vance finished eighth at 190.

East Clinton top finishers were Carly Bazaldua eighth at 110 and Ryleigh Burns eighth at 135.
