DeFayette records 4th hole-in-one at Elks 797 GC

Gary DeFayette recorded the fourth hole-in-one of his golfing career Monday at the Elks 797 Golf Course.

DeFayette, a Wilmington resident, aced the par 3 No. 5 hole.

The hole-in-one was his fourth at the Elks. The first was May 11, 2004 when he aced No. 18. The next came Dec. 26, 2018 when he holed out on No. 3. The third was April 5, 2022 on No. 3.

DeFayette started playing golf at age 55 and is currently 81.
