BHS grad earns Coach of Year in SBAAC American

Blanchester High School graduate and current Goshen High School boys basketball coach Miles Burton was named SBAAC American Division boys coach of the year.

Clinton County had three boys on the first team — Mikey Brown and Jayceon Kibler of Wilmington and Jerry Trout of Clinton-Massie.

In the National Division, East Clinton’s Xander Lake and Blanchester’s Bryce Sipple were first-team selections.

Burton led the Warriors to the American Division title. Caden Zeinner was player of the year.

In the National Division, Dan McKibben of Williamsburg was Coach of the Year and Alex Ervin was Player of the Year.

SBAAC National Boys: 1st Team-Xander Lake (EC); Bryce Sipple (Blan); Griffin Davis (BT); Alex Ervin POY, Brody Fisher, JJ Miller (Wbg); Symon Mattes, Connor Yeager (CNE); Austin Miles, Aiden Werner (Geo); 2nd Team-Kaden Cromer (Blan); Honorable Mention: Peyton Lilly (EC); Evan Malott (Blan).
