Town & Country Salon & Day Spa and Schmidt’s Automotive/Smitty’s Detail Shop welcome the public to a joint open house on Wednesday, according to a news release.
Both businesses are located at 1187 W. Main St., with the salon in the front of the building and the automotive/detail shop in the back.
The open house for Town & Country Salon & Day Spa will take place from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. as it celebrates 12 years in business at its West Main Street location.
“Come meet the staff, including two new hairstylists and a new acrylic nail artist, and enjoy refreshments and the chance to win a free month of unlimited tanning,” said Dessie Rogers, executive director of the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce.

The Auto Shop’s open house will also take place from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. to celebrate the launch of Schmidt’s Automotive, a new partnered business with Smitty’s Detail Shop. There will be a formal ribbon cutting at noon in conjunction with the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce to recognize the new partnership.
“Schmidt’s Automotive offers automotive repair, maintenance, tire sales shop, and much more — all while offering the same convenience for all your detailing and ceramic coating needs,” Rogers said. “Meet the team and enjoy discounts for upcoming services.”

Beckers SMASH-tastic Burgers will be on-site throughout both open houses. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, Rogers said.
